In these times of war, destruction
and separation, MaraReggae
introduces the concept of a globally
minded, peaceful world, in which the
preservation of Mother Earth and its
people are above everything. Our
dream is a world filled with
compassion, humanity, understanding
and dancing in rhythmic
harmony…together as one.

MaraReggae
will join the rest of the
Carnaval parade contingents with
a decorated float, musicians,
and dancers. The dancers will be
representing Mother Earth and
her preservation, for without
her we are nothing. Musicians
will represent the Universal
Citizens. Take a look at lyrics

Sunday, May 29, in the Mission District of San

How You
Can Participate
MaraReggae encourages all dancers and drummers
to participate. If we can dance and drum
together for peace and harmony the world will
feel its effects.
Cost
dancers: $195
includes registration, rehearsals and costume
Costumes
Musicians will
represent the Universal Citizens. They will wear
multi-colored rainbow costumes representing
everyone in the world. The dancers will be
representing Mother Earth and her preservation,
for without her we are nothing!!! Costumes will
be adorned with items from nature, such as
flowers, shells, leaves, etc.
