“Bumba Meu Boi”
A folkloric tribute and celebration of the Amazonas
Aquarela is known for its daring and distinctive representation of the
Brazilian Carnaval and this year will be no exception. The Boi Bumbá is
a thrilling, energizing, unforgettable experience. It is all at once a
sumptuously staged carnaval, a religious procession, a tribal ritual, a
fairy tale with powerful villains and brave heroes, and a huge party for
all!
Come parade with the Award winning Aquarela Samba School and
Carnaval Queens Micaela (2004), Iya (2003), Silvana (1996) & Maria
(1995) & King Carlos (2000)!
Rehearsals: 11-1pm Saturdays beginning March 19th @ LaSolea Studio 3376
