The Sunday is less crowded and
it features the Children's bands. Carnival is always held on the last Monday of
August and the Saturday and Sunday preceding it. The 3-day bank holiday in the
UK marks the end of summer. For 2005 the
3 main days of the Carnival will be August 27th to 29th.
