Gilgamesh flood myth |
Epic of Gilgamesh
The main characters are Gilgamesh, the king of Uruk, and
the divinely created
Enkidu ; Ninsun, wise goddess and mother of
Gilgamesh;
Shamhat, a sacred girl who brings Gilgamesh
and Enkidu together; Anu, father of the gods and patron
of Uruk;
Humbaba,, a demon that must be killed;
Ishtar,
goddess and Gilgamesh's spurned and vengeful suitor;
Enti, the god who unleashes the great flood; Siduri, the
bar maid with worldly advice; Urshanabi, the boatman who
gives passage to paradise; and Utnaspishtim, the former
king who holds the secret of eternal life.
Enkidu assists Gilgamesh in his fight
against
Humbaba, the guardian monster of the
Cedar Forest. Contrary to Enkidu's conscience, he
cooperates in killing the defeated
Humbaba. Afterwards, he again assists his companion
Gilgamesh in slaying the
Bull of Heaven, which the gods have sent to kill
Gilgamesh as a reprisal to spurning the goddess
Ishtar's affections. Upon its destruction, Ishtar
demands that the pair should pay for its destruction.
Shamash argues to the other gods to spare both of
them, but could only save Gilgamesh. The gods pass
judgment that Enkidu had no justification for fighting
the
Bull of Heaven and was interfering with the will of
the gods. Enkidu then is overcome by a severe illness.
Near death, he has visions of a gloomy afterlife, and
curses the trapper and Shamhat for civilizing him. He
retracts his curse on Shamhat, however, after Shamash
scolds him, reminding him that it was Shamhat who taught
him about civilization, and ultimately, brought him to
Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh mourns over the body of
Enkidu for several desperate days. In a vivid line
repeated in the epic,
Gilgamesh only allows his friend to be buried after
a maggot falls out of the corpse's nose. Gilgamesh's
close observation of rigor mortis and the slow
decomposition of Enkidu's body provides the hero with
the impetus for his quest for eternal life, and his
visit to

Ralph Waldo Emerson and the Transcendentalists were greatly
influenced by the Moralia so much that Emerson called the Lives
"a bible for heroes" in his glowing introduction to the five
volume 19th century edition of his Moralia.[17] Emerson also
wrote that
"We cannot read Plutarch without a tingling of the blood; and I accept
the saying of the Chinese Mencius: 'A sage is the instructor of
a hundred ages. When the manners of Loo are heard of, the stupid
become intelligent, and the wavering, determined.' "[18] |
Archeo-cryptographer Carl
Munck has shown that these numbers were part of a very
ancient system for positioning ancient sites around the world.
In both the old and new reckoning systems, the
earth is divided into 360 degrees around the equator for
longitude coordinates, and latitude coordinates are reckoned at
90 degrees, from the equator to either Pole. Each degree is
further divided into 60 "minutes," and each minute is divided
into 60 "seconds." Thus, by giving the degrees, minutes, and
seconds of East or West longitude and same for the North or
South latitude, we can "locate" any point on the earth, similar
to the way we give two street addresses to locate a place in our
cities and towns. The big difference between the two systems is
that today we use Greenwich, England as the starting point (zero
degrees), or "Prime Meridian," for the longitude coordinates,
whereas the ancients used the Great Pyramid of Giza. The
difference in longitude between the two Prime Meridians is 31
degrees, 08 minutes, 0.8 seconds, so this must be taken into
account when calculating "The Code."
No one knows where
ancient metrology came from - it was already in use when men
first began writing.

"The soul, being eternal, after death is like a caged bird that
has been released. If it has been a long time in the body, and
has become tame by many affairs and long habit, the soul will
immediately take another body and once again become involved in
the troubles of the world. The worst thing about old age is that
the soul's memory of the other world grows dim, while at the
same time its attachment to things of this world becomes so
strong that the soul tends to retain the form that it had in the
body. But that soul which remains only a short time within a
body, until liberated by the higher powers, quickly recovers its
fire and goes on to higher things." Plutarch (The Consolation,
Moralia) |

In the ancient
world, the planets were understood to be, in Plato's phrase,
'the instruments of time'.
The longest of
these 'periodicities' was the orbit of Saturn - some 30 years.
Saturn thus became the old god, the father of time. In his
benign aspect, he has come down to us as 'Father Time', and in
his fearsome aspect, he is the 'Grim Reaper'. In both cases, he
carries a staff (with the Grim Reaper, this ends with a scythe).
The staff represents the precessing axis of the earth, and for
this reason, Saturn was said to be the owner of a mill -
Hamlet's Mill. |

Cosmic Evolution of humanity was
an accepted
principle of the ancient wisdom-religions. We are children of
the universe and the refined principles of their evolved
sciences of cosmology, numerology, geometry and music were held
by the priest class. |
Sacred Numbers |
 |
 |
The best precession number is 25,920 years
because harmony or the music of the spheres tells us this is how
long it takes to complete a full earth cycle through the 12
night skies of the zodiac. Divide this number by 60, the number
that best defines "time" also known as the ancient "soss," and
you arrive at the number of 432. This makes 432 a sacred number,
encoded in many myths and sacred structures including the Bible
for millenniums. |
The Mithrac mysteries gave the knowledge of the
precession of the equinoxes a central place in their rites which were
secret and only available to the initiated other ancient mythologies
they were hardly the first. The case has been made that the earliest
spiritual writings have contained this knowledge in code.
Ancient history, leaves us only symbols and monuments
and art works so it is a speculative science. Yet knowledge of the
precession of the equinoxes appears to have been a common thread in many
of the great civilizations and their most powerful way of communicating
with the future as we struggle to bring this knowledge to the collective
conscious.
 |
Releasing your mind from
the grip of the mechanistic rationalists |
This is the most important message yet to enjoy the
benefit of wide dispersion [going viral] on the internet. Both the
academic and religious orthodoxy have long repressed this powerful
information which transforms consciousness as we perceive the earth as a
child of the universe.
The earth's axis wobble that causes the precession of
the equinoxes is given as 25,920 years. Divided by the ancient number
called "soss," 60, which was used in calculations, results in 432. This
number according to Joseph Campbell is a mythical archetype capable of
appearing in anyone's dreams.
A well-conditioned human has a heart which beats once
per second, 60/minute, 3600 beats per hour and 86,400 beats per day.
The diameter of the sun is 864,000 miles (2 x
432). The diameter of the moon is 2160 miles (432 / 2).
Since the rate of the precession could be approximated
at fifty seconds of arc per year, to precess a full minute of arc takes
slightly more than a year; and to precess one full degree of sixty
minutes takes seventy-two years. A full cycle of 360 degrees thus
requires 360 X 72, or 25,920 years. But the natural revolution of the
Earth around both the sun and its own axis describes a complex pattern
of perturbations. It has long been known that one of the periods of
oscillation is approximately every 432 days, while another--related to
variations in atmospheric pressure--lasts about a year. Yet, only
recently atmospheric scientists determined that the great cycles also
manifest as harmonic oscillations at higher frequencies, with
fluctuations from several months to a cycle of only two weeks.
The earliest widely acknowledged
appearance of the number referencing the precession of the equinoxes is
by Bel-usur aka, Berosus, Berossus, Berossos, Berossos, the much
quoted Assyrian priest of Bel in Babylon from 3rd century BC. In his
second book, a Greek a synopsis of Babylonian myth and history, he
describes a period of 432,000 years history, up to the Flood. The
ancient Sumerians also had a festival calendar which was reckoned by
five-day periods or weeks. There are 72 such periods in 360 days. The
extra five days in a year were considered special, not part of the
regular 72-week cycle. In 72 years, the length of time for the earth to
precess one degree, occur 72 X 360 = 25,920 festival weeks, the same as
the number of years in the precession of the equinoxes. Also
interesting, are the "lost" days. Five each for 72 years is the magic
number of 360, and another full festival year. Both the Egyptians and
the Mayans had yearly calendars of 360 days with 5 festival days which
can reasonalbly be considered the first Carnavals
Mythologist Joseph Campbell noted that the current
estimate of 4.5 billion terrestrial years (TY) for the lifetime of the
Earth is very close to the pure unit 4320 found in Hindu mythology and
other cosmological systems. 4320 occurs in several variations. By one
reckoning, 4,320,000 years is one "Day of Brahma," that is, one vast
cosmic cycle. Ancient calculations extrapolate 4320 into tens and
hundreds of billions of years. 4320 is also the breakdown of the four
Yugas or cosmic ages in sacred Hindu (Brahmanical) chronology.
The Bible
 |
The bible addresses the message of the precession of the
equinoxes in several ways. The most apparent is the match of
symbols of the last three great ages or Taurus, Aries and Pisces
[bull, lamb and fish] with the Egyptian, Old testament or before
Christ and the New Testament or after Christ. The
change between the ages of Taurus and Aries is recorded in the
old testament Bible, at Exodus 12, where Moses institutes the
sacrifice of the lamb or ram instead of the bull.
“The city [of Jerusalem] lies
foursquare, its length the same as its breadth, and he measured
the city with his rod, twelve thousand stadia; its length and
breadth and height are equal.” |
The symbol of Christ and the new testament became
Aries the Fish. More specifically quoting the Bible,
Book of Revelations 21:9-21in
particular“12,000 x 12,000 x 12,000 stadia = 1,728 billion cubic stadia,
which, when divided by 4, equals 432 billion. Moreover, in Rev. 13:18 it
is declared that the number of the name of the “beast rising out of the
sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadms upon its horns and
a blasphemous name upon its heads” (Rev 13:1), is 666; whereas 6 x 6 x6
= 216, which is half of 432.”
In the old star map we can find major gospel
stories from the virgin birth (Virgo), the death of Christ on
the cross (Scorpio) to the pouring out of God’s spirit like
living waters on all humanity (Aquarius) and his Second Coming
(Leo) to rule and reign as King of Kings.

Continuing: “When Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father

became the father of Mahalalel,” and so on, to, “When Lamech had
lived 182 years, he became the father of a son, and called his
name Noah….” Following all of which, we learn from Gen. 7:6 that
“Noah was 600 years old when the flood of waters came upon the
earth.”

Between the totals of Berossos and the
compilers of Genesis 5-7, there is apparently an irreconcilable
difference… both totals contain 72 as a factor, this being the
number of years required in the precessin of the equinoxes for
an advance of 1 degree along the zodiac. 432,000 divided by 72 =
6,000, while 1656 divided by 72 = 23. So that the relationship
is of 6,000 to 23. but in the
Jewish calendar, one year is reckoned
as of 365 days, which number in 23 years, plus the 5 leap-year
days of that period, amounts to 8,400 days, or 1,200 seven-day
weeks; which last sum, multiplied by 72, to find the number of
seven-day weeks in 23 x 72 = 1,656 years, yields 1,200 x 72 =
86,400, which is twice 43,200.
“So that in the Book of Genesis two distinct
theologies have been now revealed. the first is that of the
usually recognized, personal Creator-god of Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob, who saw that “the wickedness of man was great in the
earth… and was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it
grieved him to his heart. So the Lord said, ‘I will blot out man
whom I have created from the face of the ground, man and beast
and creeping things and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I
have made them’” (Gen 6:5-7). Whereas the other, very different
theology has been hidden all these years beneath the elaborately
disguised number 86,400, which can only be a covert reference to
the mathematically governed Gentile cosmology… of an unending
series of cycles of world appearances and
dissolutions, the latter following inevitably upon the former,
not because of any god’s disappointment in his creation, but as
night follows day.” ---Joseph Campbell

Gilgamesh & the Slaying of the Bull |
the Original
Superhero |
The Antediluvian Kings who correspond to the Bible were Sumerian
whose central myth was of the hero king Gilgamesh. Set in what
is now Iraq, the Epic of Gilgamesh has its origin in the
Sumerian era c.3,000 BCE. What has come down to us are various
clay tablet fragments written around 1,800-1,600 BCE onwards in
the Akkadian cuniform script, after the fragments of his story
were excavated in 1853 at Nineveh from the library of the last
great Assyrian king, Ashurbanipal, who reigned in the 7th
century BC. As an epic,
Gilgamesh contains both historical and mythic elements and is meant to be interpreted on several levels.
The Hero's journey or monomyth described by Joseph Campbell is
the basic pattern found in this epic like many central
narratives from around the world as Gilgamesh experiences a call
to adventure before embarking on a road of trials as he seeks to
achieve the goal or "boon.
Major characters are those of the
prominent constellations. The Sun God appears throughout the
Epic in a leading role.
The sun god tells him that he will never find eternal life.
Gilgamesh comes to a woman of wine who asks him why he is
searching for the wind. He explains that he is afraid of death,
and she suggests that he eat, drink, dance, and enjoy life.
A Raven flys off from the flood ark without returning, Gilgamesh
must pass a gate
guarded by scorpion men, Dreams,
temptations, an alter ego rival who becomes a loyal brother,
civilization and the separation of the human from the divine,
the importance of death to life also play a role in
communicating
the evolutionary unfolding of our spiritual nature.
Unable to find immortality, a magical herb is offered as a
consolation; but the serpent that seems able to rejuvenate
itself by shedding its skin steals this away from humanity.
Gilgamesh took the axe, he slung the
quiver from his shoulder,
and the bow of Anshan, and buckled the sword to his
belt;
and so they were armed and ready for the journey.
|
 |
Gilgamesh represents
the constellation of Orion.
Gilgamesh, in his epic journey, kills the 'Bull of
Heaven' - the constellation of Taurus |
'Now thrust in your sword between the
nape and the horns.'
So Gilgamesh followed the Bull, he seized the thick of
its tail,
he thrust the sword between the nape and the horns and
slew the Bull. When they had killed the Bull of Heaven
they cut out its heart and gave it to Shamash (the Sun),
and the brothers rested. |
In Sumer it was King Lugulbanda,
with assistance from the
god
Gilgamesh [Orion], who fought the Sumerian theological battle
with the followers of Taurus and became the first Sumerian
Shepherd King. This is most probably why the epic of Gilgamesh
was written: it was not an epic tale of a great king, as such,
but an ancient bi-millennial celebration of the movement of the
stars. ---

Angkor Wat Cambodia

Angkor Wat built by King Suryavarman II in the
12th century, and is as immense as it is beautiful. The origins
of the temple lie in what may be the world's oldest
religious text, the Rigveda, one of the four Veda
Samhitas of Hindu literature. This text describes the gods
of heaven and earth, including the earthly god Vishnu, "The
Preserver." It is to Vishnu that Angkor Wat is consecrated
"Due to precession, the vernal equinox moves along the ecliptic
by 1° in approximately 72 years. Coincidentally, the number of
temples built around Angkor Wat is 72!
Hindu cosmology recognizes four time periods,
or Yugas, that are represented in the dimensions of the
temple:
- The length of the Kali-Yuga, our
current time period, is 2 x 603 years, or 432
thousand years. The width of the moat that surrounds the
temple, measured at the water level, is approximately 432
hat.
- The length of the Dv apara-Yuga

distance from the entrance to the inner wall is 867 hat.
- The length of the Treta-Yuga is
6 x 603 years, or 1,296 thousand years. The
distance from the entrance to the central tower is 1,296
hat.
- The length of the Krita-Yuga is
8 x 603 years, or 1,728 thousand years. The
distance from the moat bridge to the center of the
temple is 1,734 hat.

Norse Mythology of
Valhalla
 |
In Norse mythologies the "War of
the Wolf" was the recurrent cosmic battle between the gods and
the antigods. The main gate of Valhalla is called Valgrind,
which is described in Grímnismál as a "sacred gate", behind
which are the "holy doors" and "there are few who can tell the
manner by which it is locked". |
A Feast in Valhalla
From a painting by Jno. Kellar
The Goths, believed that the bodies of all warriors who met their
deaths in battle were transported directly to Valhalla by
Valkyrie maidens on the backs of winged horses. Upon reaching
this mythological heaven the dead were revived and ever
thereafter enjoyed themselves and got to fight their battles
over again every day. |
In the Icelandic Poetic Edda we
are told that in Odin's heavenly warrior hall were 540 doors:
Five hundred doors and
forty there are, I ween, in Valhalla's walls;
eight hundred fighters through each door fare when to
war with the Wolf they go. |
"540 doors times 800 warriors
is 432,000, that magical number from Berossus. We are also
reminded of the Hindu myths of 12,000 divine years with 360
human years in each divine year. These 4,320,000 human years (10
X 432,000)
are in each period of Brahma. The age of Kali, in which we now
live, had 1200 divine years and therefore 432,000 human years,
the same as the number from the Icelandic epic tale and from the
Berossus' king reigns. " ---Joseph Campbell
The Purinas date from ca. AD 400 to 1000; the
Eddic verses from ca. AD 900 to 1100.” |
Sacred Valley of the Incas
 |
This
story is still being written but two brothers, Fernando and
Edgar Elorrieta, in the valley of the Urubamba river - the
so-called Sacred Valley of the Incas who have found that the
enormous animal effigies, throughout the valley correspond to
the night sky. All the animals depicted - including the toad,
llama and condor - are also represented in the sky, in the Milky
Way, as Inca animal constellations. Dr Sullivan, hosting a TV
show and web site on precessional time believes the antics in
Inca myth encrypt the Inca knowledge of just that.
Few people realize
that this empire was less than a century old when it was utterly
destroyed by a handful of Spanish conquistadors. In 1532 a
Spanish expeditionary force of 175 hardened adventurers, under
the command of Francisco Pizarro, ascended the Andean massif in
search of a fabled Empire of Gold. Unknown to them as they
approached two great Inca armies were engaged in the climactic
battle of a great civil war of succession. When, on November 15,
the Spanish force reached the ridgeline overlooking the valley
of Cajamarca the victorious Inca king Atahuallpa was completing
the third day of a fast of thanksgiving for his victory. What
the Spanish saw was an encamped army of 40,000 men. Unknown to
the Spaniards, the Incas assumed that the
arrival of Pizarro represented the culmination of a central
prophecy and the failure of their own efforts to prevent its
occurrence, thus sealing their fated doom.
The
astronomical, or precessional event which took place at this
time was the failure (for the first time in 800 years) of the
Milky Way to be visible at sunrise on June solstice. In
cosmological terms, this meant that the gates of the land of the
gods had slammed shut. |

Hamlet's Mill:
an Essay on
Myth and the Frame of Time
 |
|
Dr. Giorgio de Santillana,
historian and author of Hamlet’s Mill, traced all the
ancient myths and legends around the world to show they had a
foundation in the description of the procession. "Hamlet's Mill"
written back in the 60's by Hertha von Dechend, professor at the
University of Frankfurt, and Giorgio Diaz de Santillana,
professor at M.I.T. the precession of the axis was discovered
long before the accepted date of the Greek discovery, and that
this was discovered by an ancient (perhaps around 4000 BCE)
civilization of unsuspected sophistication; this civilization
believed that the world passed through cyclical & Zodiacal
stages based on the precession, and that myths which encode this
astronomical knowledge symbolically transmit this belief,
typically through a story relating to a millstone and a young
protagonist. The title comes from a character in Norse mythology
called Amlodhi, who owned a mill that once ground out gold, but
which now lies at the bottom of the sea, grinding out salt.
Hamlet's Mill has been and continues to remain ignored by
all branches of academia

"As the
precessional clock ticks onward - a clock whose rhythms the
ancients were convinced gave clues to the rhythms of human
history - perhaps it is past time that we humans reclaim our
history, which is our birthright, and with it perhaps reclaim
some of the more sacred aspects of our human nature."

432 = Consecration also the square root of
the classical speed of light, 186624 miles per second |
The "Sacred Numbers" of 432,000, is a
"harmonic" of 4,320. Examples of Harmonics are: 432; 4320;
432,000; 4.32; .00432; etc.— The same numbers, same sequence;
zeroes can be added or removed and the decimal can be moved
right or left. "Harmonics" were established and taught by
Pythagoras and Plato.
There are myths about cycles in time, and out of time, so
doubling/halving of 432 to 864 and 216 is not uncommon.
The ancient Greeks spoke of "The Music of the
Spheres." The sun god, Apollo, was the god of music and truth. |

Still in use today, these are part of the
world's oldest system of measurement, used for transmitting this
harmonic which informs humanity's existence as children of the

The Beat of a healthy human heart
is 60.
60 per
minute x 60 minutes, = 3600 /beats per hour. Times 24
hours, = 86,400 beats a day. This also means
that the number of seconds in a days references 432 as a
key to cosmic evolution.
A well conditioned heart beats one time each second.
What about an average heart at 72 bpm? |
|
72 x 360 = 25920 |
The cosmic order...is known even
more deeply and essentially through number, which becomes
audible--as Pythagoras held and as the harps of Ur suggest--in
the harmonies and rhythms of music; specifically the number
system of:
- 60--the soss
- 600--the ner
- 3600--the sar
- 216,000--the great sar
( = 60 X 3600)
two great sars yielding
that interesting 432,000 of Berossos' eon.

Mythology, p. 121. ] |

The Egyptian sacred pyramid inch is .0011 inches
longer than our inch. 186,291 (accepted speed of light) x 1.0011
= 186496 or 99.931429 percent of 186,624. The speed of light, if
calculated using the slightly longer sacred pyramid inch, is
extraordinarily close to the square of 432. |
- 4+3+2=9
- 9x9=81
- 1/81 = 12345678
- 8/81= 98765432
- 98765432 x 9 = 888888888
- 12345678 x 9 = 111111111

pi=22/7 |
The numbers one to 9, arranged in sequence in
groups of three:
1 2 3

The middle vertical, horizontal, and

RAD |
RAD-a unit of plane angle,
equal to 180/π degrees, or about 57.2958 degrees. It follows that
the magnitude in radians of one complete revolution (360
degrees) is the length of the entire circumference divided by
the radius, or 2πr /r, or 2π. Thus 2π
radians is equal to 360 degrees, meaning that one radian is
equal to 180/π degrees. In
calculus and most other branches of mathematics beyond practical
geometry, angles are universally measured in radians. One
important reason is that results involving trigonometric
functions are simple and "natural" when the function's argument
is expressed in radians. For example, the use of radians leads
to the simple identity |

432 &
Golf |
 |
A manufacturer of golf balls once did a test to find the ideal
number of dimples to put on golf balls.
The Wilson 432 golf ball has been found by
professionals to lengthen their drives some ten to thirteen or
more yards.
The dimples on a golf ball have
everything to do with the areodynamics of the ball. The dimples
create a restless boundry of air around the ball, technically
called lift. The Maxfli 432 dimple pattern is made up of 12
pentagons and 20 triangles based on a icosidodecahedron. Six
circles define the pattern |
Rome had utilized 432 in their
measure, a duodecimal (base 12) system. A unit of weight was
called an uncia where 432 grains were 1 Uncia, which were
144 Unica in their
weight measurements. Furthermore, 216 grains (half of 432 and 3
x 72) were 72
Semuncia, and 144 grains were 48 Duella.
The Roman "Load" was 3000 Libra; 2160 pounds
today. |
