exception: Many images have been acquired with a creative
commons copyright which allows reuse by others under various
restrictions. We make extensive use of creative commons content from
wikipedia.org content and images from flikr.com (purchased by yahoo.com
in 2006) We contribute a portion of our revenue to wikpedia.org,

or images that infringe copyrights, publicity rights, privacy rights or
other intellectual property rights.
To report a Carnaval.com Community
posting which violates our Terms and Conditions and which you want
removed, please send an email notice to the Carnaval.com Copyright Agent

If you believe that your work has been
copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your
intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please
provide the Carnaval.com’ Copyright Agent with a notice containing the
following information:
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or other intellectual
property that you claim has been infringed;
- An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to
act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual
property interest;
- Identification of where the material that you claim is
infringing is located on the site (i.e., the complete URL of each
image you believe violates our Terms and Conditions)
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the
disputed use is not authorized by the copyright or intellectual

accurate and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the
copyright or intellectual property owner or authorized to act on the

For violations that do not pertain to
the infringement of intellectual property rights, please provide:
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- The complete URL of each image you believe violates our Terms
and Conditions.
We investigate reported violations and
take appropriate action within 3 business days after receipt of
infringement notices.
