system. Harrison’s Cave in St. Thomas

sixty-six square miles of Barbados has room for a Wildlife Reserve where the mahogany
forest holds green monkeys, deer,
wallabies, pelicans, otters and many other island
critters.

Just before the St James Church, there is a small road road to Fahnsworth
Park. Turn left off the main road here to approach a wooded area opening to
a lovely uncrowded beach that seems to be the best kept secret of Barbados.
This is the gem you had hoped to find. The waters are crystal clear, and the
sea life is close to the shore and absolutely abundant
