For 2005, nearby Massachusetts communities of Boston and Cambridge both claim a top five position among Caribbean Carnivals in the USA with Brooklyn laying declaring itself the biggest parade in North America at over 2 million in attendence. Since 1981 D' Big Apple Calypso Revue has been held for seven nights leading up to the climactic weekend of Brooklyn's Labor Day West Indian American Carnival. Held under an actual big top tent at Brooklyn?s Restoration Plaza in Bedford Stuyvesant.

21st BRAZILIAN DAY IN NYC

 

 Sunday September 4th

6th Street Little Brazil between 6th Avenue and Times Square plus 6th Avenue bet. 42nd and 56th Street will be closed to all traffic and open to a fabulous Brazilian street party!

 Due to the overwhelming popularity and success Little Brazil is expanding this year to include five more city blocks on Sixth Avenue. Now with 18 blocks  filled with Brazilian authentic joy.  The festivities will include traditional Brazilian food drinks art and handcrafts.

  There will be two stages for entertainment offering exciting live Brazilian music and dance all day for the largest and most exciting cultural street festival in New York. FEATURING. Chitãozinho e Xororó
